The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatton avoids the body shot from Dailey.
As Dailey backs off Hatton throws a huge counter combo but Dailey manages to avoid it all.
Dailey throws a series of punches but Hatton moves out of range.
Hatton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dailey throws out a loose jab but Hatton uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dailey uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hatton has time to react.

Hatton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Despite the aggression on Hatton's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Dailey throws a right and a left that Hatton avoids nicely.
Hatton tries to counter with a clinch but Dailey shakes him off and moves away.

Dailey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hatton has him pressed against the cage.
Hatton lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dailey backwards.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ricky Hatton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hatton clinches up with Dailey and pushes him back against the cage.

Hatton is pushing Dailey up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dailey is trying to push Hatton away but Hatton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Dailey is trying to force a seperation but Hatton has the dominant position.

Dailey throws a lazy right hand but Hatton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dailey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hatton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dailey throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Dailey gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hatton slips under a jab from Dailey.

Hatton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dailey, pushing him back against the cage.
Dailey wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dailey is trying to break the clinch but Hatton is controlling him.
Hatton scores with a shoulder strike.
Hatton has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Dailey to the canvas! Can Dailey beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think Dailey was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! Hatton is your winner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Ricky Hatton!
Ricky Hatton decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
