Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Ferreira (ranked 3818 p4p, 4945 weight class) and Ali Shukur (ranked 285 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Olho de vidro (Glass eye). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ali Shukur!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shukur's head backwards.
Shukur shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shukur thows a huge punch but Ferreira dodges it nicely.
Shukur is working for a kimura but Ferreira is defending it quite comfortably.
Shukur works his way into side control.
Ferreira wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferreira is trying to control Shukur's posture but Shukur avoids it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ferreira is bucking up trying to escape but Shukur cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Ali Shukur tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Danilo Ferreira spoke after the fight, saying 'I did my best, i want to thanks all my supporters, but right now my mind only thinks of going back to the gym and putting in the work.'.
