Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bingo Fat (ranked 2212 p4p, 2162 weight class) and Wa Hoo (ranked 196 p4p, 188 weight class). Hoo has chosen Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wa Hoo!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fat throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hoo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fat looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hoo loads up on a big right hand but Fat slips the punch.
Hoo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Fat dodges the punch combination from Hoo.
A big left from Fat misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fat moves out of range of the strikes.
Fat was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hoo throws a body shot but no joy.
Hoo cracks Fat with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fat scores with a sloppy right hand. Hoo should have avoided that one.

Fat looks to land a right hand but Hoo moved out of range.
Hoo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hoo throws a jab but it's blocked by Fat.
Fat stalks Hoo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hoo's face. Hoo staggers backwards, shaken.
Hoo lands with a straight right. Fat didn't see that one coming.
Hoo throws a hook to the side of Fat's head but Fat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hoo lands with a nice body punch.
Hoo looks to score with a jab to the body but Fat is just out of range.
Hoo scores with a body shot.
Hoo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fat manages to avoid it.

Fat misses the shot to the body.
Hoo swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fat, as that shot connected.
Hoo's corner calls for a 1-2. Hoo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoo manages to avoid it.
Fat avoids the body shot from Hoo.
Hoo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hoo looks to score with a jab to the body but Fat is just out of range.
Fat throws a big shot that misses.
Hoo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Fat definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hoo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fat was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoo.

and Hoo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Fat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hoo.
Hoo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fat throws out the jab.

We've been informed that Hoo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Hoo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hoo.
An attempted straight right counter from Fat misses the target.

Fat takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wa Hoo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

During a confident post fight interview, Wa Hoo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
