Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonard Norton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ronin Huynh!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huynh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Huynh misses with the combination.
A little feinted left hand from Norton on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Huynh throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Norton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Norton lands a left and a right that send Huynh crashing to the mat, dazed. Norton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Huynh is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Huynh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Huynh is still on wobbly legs! Can Norton finish him?
Jab, jab by Huynh - just one landing.
Huynh seems to have recovered his senses.
Huynh misses with a right hand
and Norton scores with a counter punch that sends Huynh to the canvas! Norton smells blood - he's punishing Huynh with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Huynh has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leonard Norton!
