Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tristian Weiss (ranked 3594 p4p, 3385 weight class) and Direcus Subb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tristian Weiss has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristian Weiss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Direcus Subb! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Subb tries to clinch up but Weiss circles away and keeps his distance. Weiss throws an overhand right that lands on Subb's shoulder, as Subb tries to avoid the shot. Direcus Subb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weiss misses with a hook. Subb ducked under it nicely. Weiss sizes up Subb with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Weiss throws a shot from downtown. Subb moves away and avoids it. Weiss lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Weiss throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Weiss keeps the fight on the outside. Weiss connects with a crisp jab. Weiss misses the jab. Subb moves to clinch but Weiss breaks away and Weiss counters with a nice uppercut. Weiss cracks Subb with a good jab. Subb tries to clinch but Weiss moves out of range. Subb pushes Weiss up against the cage in a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Subb wants to stall.
Weiss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Subb closes the distance but Weiss moves to the side enabling Weiss to counter with a crisp jab. Weiss missing with a left hand there. Subb was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Subb fails in his attempt to clinch. Weiss uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Subb.
Jab by Weiss. Weiss connects with a right hand. Subb shakes it off. Subb uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Weiss. Weiss feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Subbs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Subb throws a combination that misses enabling Weiss to counter with a crisp jab. Weiss pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Subb doesn't manage to clinch there - Weiss circles away.
Weiss with a hook. Weiss looks to throw the jab but Subb is out of range. Subb is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Subb fails with an attempt to clinch.
Subb darts in and clinches Weiss up against the cage. Subb drops down looking for an ankle pick but Weiss pulls his leg out and moves away.
Weiss with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice defenses there by Subb. Subb darts in trying to clinch and Weiss counters with a straight right hand. Weiss is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Subb slips under a jab. Subb clinches up against the cage. Weiss has had enough of the clinch but Subb keeps him there for the moment. Weiss wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Weiss breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Subb looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A big right from Weiss misses. Subb is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Subb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weiss paws at him with a jab and circles away. Subb darts in and clinches Weiss up against the cage. Weiss tries to circle away but Subb has him pinned against the cage. Subb jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Weiss walks away with a smile on his face. Subb gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Weiss throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Subb sees it coming and avoids it easily. Weiss throws an overhand right that lands on Subb's shoulder, as Subb tries to avoid the shot. Weiss lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Subb closes the distance and clinches. Subb tries to pull guard but Weiss forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Tristian Weiss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Direcus Subb. Subb drags the fight down to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Subb working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Weiss doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Weiss manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Subb looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Subb is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Weiss frees his head nicely. Oh but Subb has switched to an armbar! Weiss is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
