Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zhun Li (ranked 4995 p4p, 25304 weight class) and Marshall Hoover (ranked 481 p4p, 504 weight class). Hoover has chosen The Young Punx - Ready For The Fight as his entrance music. Marshall Hoover has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zhun Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marshall Hoover! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Li. No joy for Hoover on that attempt. Li tries to counter by clinching up but Hoover breaks away and moves out of range. Li avoids the head kick by Hoover.
Li is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hoover. Hoover misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hoover or perhaps it was just good defense by Li, which made it look bad. Hoover scores with a head kick.
Hoover shoots in but no luck this time. Zhun Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marshall Hoover. Hoover fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Li avoids it really well and circles away. Li tries to clinch up. Hoover changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoover tries to keep at a distance but Li has taken the fight into the clinch.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Li is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hoover must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Li lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Li working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Li is working Hoover over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Li sitting in guard here, content to control. Li wants to control from the top but Hoover keeps moving. Li has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Li scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Li lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Li working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Li is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Li prevents Hoover from getting back to his feet. Li landing with the ground and pound. Li with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Li cracks Hoover with a solid left hand. Hoover wants to stand up but Li is controlling him. Li cracks Hoover with a solid left hand. Li working some strikes from top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Li looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Li with a nice head shot there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Li works over Hoover with some ground and pound from guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Li with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Li distracts Hoover with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Li's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Li stands and throws Hoover's legs to the side, diving into side control. Li creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Li working the body and head with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoover is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Li lands a few punches from side control. Li wants to control but Hoover is keeping him busy. Li lands a decent elbow from side control. Hoover takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Hoover is working to avoid the ground and pound but Li connects with a decent elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hoover is looking to get back to his feet here but Li is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hoover's back. Hoover wants to get back to his feet. Li is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Hoover up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Li looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Li is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Li gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Li gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Li apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hoover swats him away and circles back towards the center. Li checks a leg kick. Li tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Li tries to clinch up but Hoover circles away and keeps his distance. Li tries to clinch there but Hoover circles away.
Hoover swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hoover shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Li tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hoover dives in and grabs Li's left leg, looking for a takedown. Li pushes down on Hoover's head and hops out. Li tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hoover manages to circle out of the way. Hoover looks winded! Li tries to clinch up. Hoover fails with the takedown. Li fails with an attempt to clinch.
Li displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hoover. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zhun Li dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Li is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Li controlling Hoover's posture. Li utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Li on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Li tries to get out of the position. Li lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hoover is looking to stand back up but Li counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hoover. Li working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hoover has hold of Li's hands but Li slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hoover taking some punishment here, with Li in his half guard. Li is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Li lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Li passes to side control. Li lands some shots froms side control. Li scoring with punches from side control. Li cracks Hoover with a big right hand but Hoover just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hoover is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Li working the ground and pound from side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Li is chipping away with strikes.
Li lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hoover down.
 Hoover is rocked! Li cracks Hoover with a big elbow. Hoover is still in real trouble! Can Li finish him?
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Li lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Hoover! Li senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Hoover out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Zhun Li! In defeat, Marshall Hoover stepped up to the mic, saying 'Congratulations for my oponent.
