Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zdravko Dren Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peetu Tam!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurstr�m.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tam looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Tam has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dren Jr.
Tam misses with a left hand
and Dren Jr counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Tam to the mat! Dren Jr runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Tam is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Dren Jr pushes Tam up against the cage in a clinch.
Dren Jr lands a body punch.
Dren Jr is leaning against Tam and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Tam looks winded!
Dren Jr manages to break the clinch.
Dren Jr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tam stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dren Jr scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dren Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Peetu Tam has been cut.
Tam walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Dren Jr! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zdravko Dren Jr!
