Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramone Rocksaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Murray !
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocksaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murray sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rocksaw somewhat.
Despite the aggression on Murray 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Rocksaw with a poor takedown
and Murray counters with a right hand to the body.
Rocksaw closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Murray to the mat! Murray manages to get full guard.
Rocksaw in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Murray is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Rocksaw dives into side control.
Murray dodges the ground and pound from Rocksaw.
Murray pushes Rocksaw away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rocksaw gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murray has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Rocksaw is on him like a limpet, forcing Murray back against the cage.
Rocksaw lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murray will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rocksaw up against the cage.
Murray lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Rocksaw.

Rocksaw with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rocksaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rocksaw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rocksaw or perhaps it was just good defense by Murray , which made it look bad.
Murray let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Murray has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rocksaw is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramone Rocksaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Murray fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Murray drops Rocksaw with a big left hand! Rocksaw is injured, injured bad! Murray jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
