Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steel Adams (ranked 600 p4p, 354 weight class) and Taromaru Momoji (ranked 64 p4p, 42 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steel Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Taromaru Momoji!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Momoji lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Momoji decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Adams's guard.
Adams seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

A nice combination there by Momoji.
Momoji bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Adams's head backwards.
Momoji lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Adams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Momoji manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Momoji lunges at Adams with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Adams's hand.
Momoji has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Momoji closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Adams's guard.
