The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses with a series of wild punches.
Khan looks to land a right hand but Rauhanen moved out of range.
Khan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rauhanen.
Khan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rauhanen was well out of range. Poor timing from Khan.

Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rauhanen.

Rauhanen is looking to slow Khan down with leg kicks.

Rauhanen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rauhanen.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Khan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rauhanen clobbers Khan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Khan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rauhanen finds it's way round the side to connect with Khan's head.
Khan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Khan needs to keep his hands up - Rauhanen had a free shot at his head there.
A head kick from Rauhanen lands but Khan takes it in his stride.
Khan throws the left hand but Rauhanen avoids the punch easily.
Khan misses with a double jab
letting Rauhanen counter with a right hand.
That has opened up Shao Khan's cut even more.

and Rauhanen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A slow jab from Khan misses its intended target.

and Khan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Khan might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Rauhanen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Khan loads up on a big right hand but Rauhanen slips the punch.
Rauhanen lands with a hook. Khan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Rauhanen throws a head kick that Khan semi-blocks.
Rauhanen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A left and a right from Rauhanen both land. Nice combination.
Shao Khan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Khan blocks a head kick by Rauhanen.

Khan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rauhanen.
Khan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rauhanen counters with a one-two to the body.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Shao Khan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
