Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akira Maeda (ranked 4199 p4p, 2679 weight class) and Erich Von Lewinksi (ranked 437 p4p, 325 weight class). Von Lewinksi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: German Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akira Maeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erich Von Lewinksi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maeda connects with a nice short shot to Von Lewinksi's temple.

Maeda got a little sloppy there for a moment and Von Lewinksi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maeda has managed to get both his arms back between Von Lewinksi's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Akira Maeda will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akira Maeda.
Well Maeda has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
