Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krisko Kurtev (ranked 3654 p4p, 2049 weight class) and Scotty T Bone (ranked 402 p4p, 255 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Scotty T Bone was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 38 - 48 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Krisko Kurtev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Scotty T Bone! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurtev fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kurtev misses with a looping left. Kurtev wants to clinch and Kurtev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kurtev tries to grapple but his opponent circles and T Bone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fight stays on the outside here - Kurtev looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurtev wants to clinch up but T Bone keeps it at a distance. We've been hearing reports that Kurtev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kurtev with a lazy takedown attempt and T Bone counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kurtev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but T Bone paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kurtev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. T Bone tries to avoid it but Kurtev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag T Bone to the ground. T Bone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. T Bone with the counter takedown but Kurtev avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krisko Kurtev. That's going to take a lot out of him. T Bone stuffs the takedown attempt from Kurtev. Kurtev gets slowly back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kurtev tries to clinch and T Bone counters with a series of strikes. Kurtev will be more careful next time no doubt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kurtev. T Bone is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Kurtev darts in trying to clinch and T Bone counters with a stiff right hand. Kurtev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says T Bone as he avoids it easily. Krisko Kurtev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurtev with a poor takedown enabling T Bone to counter with a crisp jab. Kurtev closes the distance but T Bone moves to the side and T Bone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kurtev looks to clinch
and T Bone counters with a single leg into guard. Kurtev didn't expect that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! T Bone wants to stand but Kurtev has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kurtev working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because T Bone has passed into half guard!
Kurtev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but T Bone pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kurtev trying to control but T Bone postures up.
T Bone tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Kurtev is looking for a sweep. T Bone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. T Bone is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
T Bone passes into side control, despite Kurtev's attempt to control the position.
Kurtev tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but T Bone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kurtev is looking to work his way out of this bad position but T Bone is controlling him well.
T Bone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kurtev shoots in for a takedown but T Bone shows good takedown defense. Kurtev with a lazy takedown attempt and T Bone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kurtev is defended easily by T Bone.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. T Bone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kurtev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kurtev shoots and misses and T Bone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kurtev shoots and misses and T Bone counters with a right hand to the body. T Bone has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Kurtev is breathing heavily. Kurtev on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. T Bone stuns Kurtev with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kurtev walks into a left hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! T Bone scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kurtev with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling T Bone to score with a decent uppercut. T Bone takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
 Kurtev is rocked! T Bone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kurtev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Oh Kurtev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A big left from T Bone misses. A quick step to the side and Kurtev tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Scotty T Bone dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

T Bone feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kurtev sprawling to the canvas! Kurtev rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can T Bone finish him?!
Scotty T Bone seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kurtev misses with a hook to the body
and T Bone counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kurtev will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Kurtev throws his legs up looking for a submission but T Bone uses it to pass to side control.
This has been an exciting period of action! T Bone wants to stand but Kurtev is controlling his arm. Kurtev seems to have got his legs back now. Kurtev can't do much from the bottom here. Kurtev is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but T Bone is one step ahead and moves to full mount! T Bone wants to get back to his feet but Kurtev is holding on tight.
Kurtev tries to reverse the position but T Bone maintains control. Kurtev is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kurtev tries to hold on but T Bone postures up. T Bone blocks Kurtev's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. T Bone takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kurtev throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Kurtev is trying desperately to improve position.
T Bone stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Kurtev tries to score a power double leg takedown but T Bone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kurtev somewhat. T Bone unleashes a big counter combination but Kurtev bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Kurtev doesn't succeed with the takedown and T Bone counters with a straight right hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. T Bone lands with a cross. Kurtev has his takedown stuffed and T Bone counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krisko Kurtev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
T Bone lands a big uppercut and Kurtev crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kurtev looks OK. T Bone waves Kurtev back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kurtev moves in looking to clinch but T Bone pushes him off. T Bone is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kurtev with a body shot. Kurtev shoots in for a takedown but T Bone shows good takedown defense. T Bone drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kurtev defends it well. Kurtev wants to clinch
and T Bone counters with a nice double leg into guard. T Bone tries to stand but Kurtev is controlling from the bottom.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. T Bone wants to stand but Kurtev is controlling his arm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kurtev is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but T Bone is one step ahead and moves to full mount! T Bone tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. T Bone is standing up, even though he is in mount. Kurtev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kurtev tries to clinch but T Bone moves out of range.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from T Bone as Kurtev shoots in. T Bone drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kurtev defends it well. T Bone has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A left lands for T Bone. T Bone misses with a jab, cross combination.
T Bone lands a big right hand that sends Kurtev crashing to the mat! T Bone stays standing though and waves Kurtev back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! T Bone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kurtev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kurtev throws a sloppy body shot
and T Bone counters with a nice right hand that sends Kurtev toppling to the canvas! Kurtev scrambles and gets back to his feet - can T Bone finish him?! Kurtev moves to clinch but T Bone breaks away
and T Bone counters with a big takedown. That's hurt Kurtev! T Bone smells blood and goes in for the kill. Serveral hard shots later and the ref calls an end to the fight by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Scotty T Bone! During a confident post fight interview, Scotty T Bone thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
