Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamil Hurst!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson Jones gets caught flat footed, as Hurst shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hurst is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hurst is pushing down on Anderson Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Anderson Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Hurst has managed to sneak the leg through.

Hurst is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hurst lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson Jones is looking to control Hurst's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson Jones avoid being mounted?
Hurst seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
