Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Willy Klarenet (ranked 2970 p4p, 4585 weight class) and Benito Carrada (ranked 341 p4p, 460 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Klarenet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Benito Carrada! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klarenet throws a right and a left that Carrada avoids nicely.
Carrada closes the distance and clinches. Klarenet is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Carrada manages to break the clinch.
Klarenet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carrada buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Carrada tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Klarenet swivels and escapes.

Carrada keeps control of Klarenet as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Klarenet wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carrada has him pressed against the cage. Carrada jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Klarenet walks away with a smile on his face. Carrada gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Carrada tries for a takedown but Klarenet circles away easily and Klarenet counters with a one-two to the body. Carrada tries to close the distance and clinch but Klarenet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Carrada fails in his attempt to clinch. Carrada tries to clinch but Klarenet moves out of range.

Klarenet went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Klarenet looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A swing and a miss from Klarenet. Carrada shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Klarenet as he jumps to the side. No joy there for Carrada, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carrada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Klarenet moves away.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Carrada jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Klarenet circles away from the clinch attempt and Klarenet counters with a two punch combo. Klarenet misses with a series of wild punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carrada walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Klarenet chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Carrada can pounce on him.
Carrada tries to score a power double leg takedown but Klarenet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carrada somewhat. Klarenet half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Carrada looking for a takedown. A frustrated look appears on Klarenet's face as he tries to break the clinch. Klarenet tries to land a knee to the head but Carrada blocks with his arms.

Carrada decides to stand back up. Carrada steps back and let's Klarenet get back to his feet. Carrada scores with a head kick.
Klarenet misses with a few strikes there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carrada misses with a hook
and Klarenet counters with a three punch combo that has Carrada backing up. Carrada nods at Klarenet to acknowledge the strikes.
Carrada moves into range and clinches up with Klarenet. Carrada tries for a takedown. No joy.

Carrada tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Klarenet smiles and moves away.

That was a close round but I would say that Willy Klarenet will probably get the nod. That's time! Klarenet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Carrada fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Carrada looks for a takedown but Klarenet sprawls well. Willy Klarenet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carrada tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Klarenet scores with a jab to the head.
Klarenet feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carradas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A punch combination from Klarenet misses. Carrada shoots and misses and Klarenet counters with a right hand to the body. Willy Klarenet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benito Carrada. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Klarenet throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Klarenet tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Carrada manages to circle out of the way. Klarenet loads up on a big right hand but Carrada slips the punch. Klarenet throws a series of punches but Carrada avoids them all with ease. Klarenet stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Klarenet wants it to stay on the feet. Klarenet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. As Carrada looks to move away, Klarenet throws a big counter combo but Carrada just gets out of the way. Klarenet goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carrada fails with an attempt to clinch.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Carrada takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Carrada changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Klarenet looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Carrada working away. Carrada laying and praying for a moment but Klarenet takes advantage and regains half guard. Klarenet manages to get to full guard.
