Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jose Olivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Olivera wriggles free and stands up.
Olivera throws a combination. Johnson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Rocky Johnson has been cut.
Jose Olivera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olivera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnson forces Olivera back against the cage and clinches.
Olivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson jumps guard but Olivera stands there with Johnson around his waist. Johnson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Olivera lands an elbow that stopped Johnson in his tracks for a moment.
Johnson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Olivera gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Olivera creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Johnson jumps guard but Olivera stands there with Johnson around his waist. Johnson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Olivera is looking to break free of the clinch but Johnson has double underhooks.

Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Olivera's guard.
Johnson stays in close to Olivera's body and controls the position.
Olivera scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Johnson dives in and grabs Olivera's left leg, looking for a takedown. Olivera pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out.
Olivera changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Olivera lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Johnson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Olivera moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Olivera lands with a big left! Johnson is wobbled badly! Olivera comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Johnson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jose Olivera!
