Tama misses with a right hand
and Bonaparte makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Tama shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bonaparte sprawls well. Bonaparte wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tama gets slowly back to his feet.
Bonaparte swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tama gets a clinch.
Tama manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Tama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
