Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Gomi (ranked 2028 p4p, 4956 weight class) and Kevin Lin (ranked 146 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi comes to the cage accompanied by The Only Thing They Fear is You- DOOM Eternal OST. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hiroshi Gomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Lin!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lin's hands.
Lin shoots in but no luck this time.
Gomi scores with a hook to the body. Lin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gomi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lin.
As Lin looks to move away, Gomi throws a big counter combo but Lin just gets out of the way.
Gomi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Lin has his takedown stuffed
and Gomi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Gomi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hiroshi Gomi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Lin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Gomi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gomi finds it's way round the side to connect with Lin's head.
Gomi digs a good hook to Lin's body.
Lin drops his hands momentarily and Gomi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gomi.
Gomi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Gomi clobbers Lin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lin misses with a double jab
and Gomi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice body punch from Gomi.
Gomi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gumburcules Gym in the buildup to the fight.

letting Gomi counter with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Lin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Nice takedown defense from Gomi. No joy for Lin on that attempt.

and Gomi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lin tries to move into range but Gomi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gomi punishes Lin's body with a nice straight punch.
Gomi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gomi feints a jab promting Lin to slip. Gomi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gomi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Lin shoots for a takedown but Gomi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gomi scores with a jab to the body.
Lin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gomi to score with a decent uppercut.
Gomi lands a glancing blow to the side of Lin's head.
Gomi digs a good body shot into Lin's ribs.
A jab lands there for Gomi.
Lin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gomi counters with a nice uppercut.
Gomi connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lin's hands.
Lin shoots in and drives through. Gomi sprawls well.
It looked like Gomi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lin.
Gomi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hiroshi Gomi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gomi throws a good cross that connects.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gomi.
Lin is rocked!

and Gomi counters with a one-two to the body.
Lin is still on wobbly legs! Can Gomi finish him?
Lin is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gomi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lin.

Lin seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gomi connects with a single shot there.
Gomi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gomi duly obliges.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hiroshi Gomi dominated that round.

Gomi cracks Lin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gomi finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gomi drops Lin with a big left hand! Lin is injured, injured bad! Gomi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiroshi Gomi!
