Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Kaladin Hinson (ranked 3146 p4p, 2630 weight class) and Melvin Klein (ranked 265 p4p, 225 weight class). With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Melvin Klein!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Klein throws out the jab.
Hinson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Klein manages to circle out of the way.
Klein throws a right hand that misses
and Hinson counters with a straight right hand.
Klein scores with a jab. Hinson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Klein misses with a straight left.
Hinson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Klein manages to circle out of the way.
Klein lands a jab to the head.
Klein throws a lazy right hand but Hinson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Klein rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hinson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Klein throws a right hand that misses
and Hinson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Klein throws a lazy uppercut
and Hinson counters with a beautiful hook that drops Klein to the mat! Will Klein be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Hinson to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Klein is up. He looks OK to continue.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Klein misses with an uppercut
and Hinson counters with a huge right that knocks Klein out cold! Hinson is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
