Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Lebedev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ahmed Cobt!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobt is looking to clinch.
Lebedev throwing a counter right hand but Cobt manages to avoid it.

Cobt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cobt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lebedev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cobt scores with a one two! Lebedev had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Cobt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Lebedev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cobt tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lebedev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cobt falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cobt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lebedev jabs Cobt right on the nose. Cobt blinks but takes it well.

enabling Lebedev to counter with a crisp jab.
Cobt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Cobt's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lebedev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cobt scrambles back to his feet.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Cobt might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Lebedev has got the better of the exchanges.
