Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rahim Johnson (ranked 2163 p4p, 5091 weight class) and Xi Daerji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gone Guru- Lifeseeker. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rahim Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 41 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Xi Daerji!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Chris Dean and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daerji lands a nice looking body shot.
Good leg kick by Johnson.
Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Daerji, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Daerji moves out of range of the strikes.
A countering left hand to the body from Daerji misses.
Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Daerji sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Daerji closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Johnson is trying to push Daerji away but Daerji has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Daerji throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Daerji can't break the clinch.
Johnson wants to get back to striking at distance but Daerji won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson tries to break free but Daerji pushes him back against the cage.
Daerji jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Daerji gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Johnson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Daerji fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage.
Daerji is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing.
Rahim Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xi Daerji.
Daerji goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Daerji looks winded!
Daerji is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johnson throws a good cross that connects.
Daerji is rocked!
Daerji gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rahim Johnson!
Rahim Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
