Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Sam Owen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cohen Hawthorne!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen misses with a few strikes there.
Hawthorne takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hawthorne walks into a stiff left hand from Owen.
Owen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Owen connects with a jab.
A punch lands to the side of Hawthorne 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hawthorne is rocked!
Hawthorne blocks a head kick by Owen.
Hawthorne has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hawthorne tries to clinch but Owen is having none of it.
Owen jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Owen misses with a head kick.
Hawthorne doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Owen looks to land a right hand but Hawthorne moved out of range.
Hawthorne looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hawthorne avoids the head kick by Owen.
Hawthorne tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Owen throws a shot to the body.
Hawthorne scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Sam Owen has been cut.
Owen throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawthorne fails with a takedown attempt.
A head kick from Hawthorne lands but Owen takes it in his stride.
Owen lands with a cross.
Owen throws a looping overhand right but Hawthorne ducks down to avoid it.
Owen connects with a nice cross there... Hawthorne is looking wobbly and Owen recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hawthorne to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Owen jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sam Owen!
After winning the bout, Sam Owen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
