The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raak has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Edmonds is in all sorts of trouble here.

Raak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Edmonds, pushing him back against the cage.

Raak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Raak tries to pass to full mount but Edmonds defends it.

Raak has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Edmonds wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Edmonds seems to have recovered his senses.
Raak scores with a shot to the side of Edmonds's head.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Raak for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Raak seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Raak stays in close to Edmonds's body and controls the position.
Raak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Edmonds swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Raak is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Raak is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Edmonds's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Edmonds's back!
Raak is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Edmonds can do to turn this around?

Raak has the hooks in. Edmonds is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Raak passes his arm under Edmonds's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Edmonds taps!
