Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ali Shukur!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shukur pushes Gigante up against the cage in a clinch.
Gigante is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gigante drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shukur pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gigante misses with a takedown attempt - Shukur sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tout Petit Gigante. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shukur throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shukur changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gigante looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shukur connects with a nice short shot to Gigante's temple.

Shukur is trying to control the action in half guard but Gigante is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
