The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dje throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Boyd was covering up waiting for the punch and Dje finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dje thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dje drops back looking for a leg! Boyd is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boyd manages to kick Dje off! Dje jumps back into Boyd's guard.

Boyd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dje. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dje drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Dje as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Boyd screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Dje! Nice submission victory there!
