Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trenton Dudley (ranked 3862 p4p, 25675 weight class) and Elliot Carney (ranked 0 p4p, 441 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trenton Dudley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elliot Carney! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carney gets tackled into the cage by Dudley. Dudley maintains the clinch. Dudley tries to pull guard but Carney holds him up against the cage and eventually Dudley drops back down to his feet.
Dudley is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Dudley being controlled against the cage. Carney can't get the takedown.
The referee calls for Dudley to work.
Dudley goes for a takedown attempt but Carney pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trenton Dudley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dudley is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carney misses with a double jab
and Dudley counters with a stiff right hand. Carney closes the distance and clinches up with Dudley, looking for a takedown. Carney pushes Dudley against the cage but Dudley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Dudley misses the target. Elliot Carney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carney tries to move into range but Dudley moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Dudley closes the distance and pushes Carney back into the cage. Dudley blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Dudley pulls guard effortlessly. Carney trying to control the position from guard on top but Dudley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dudley seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Dudley will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dudley holds on and takes a little breather. Dudley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well, if Dudley is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
Carney is trying to get back to full guard. Dudley perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Carney trying to get back to full guard but Dudley takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Dudley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dudley looking to control and managing it successfully. Dudley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dudley is landing with some decent strikes but Carney is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Dudley. Dudley prevents Carney from getting the reversal. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carney takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Dudley sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Trenton Dudley dominated that round. That's time! Dudley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Carney closes the distance but Dudley moves to the side and Dudley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Carney blocks a head kick by Dudley.

Carney tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dudley swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dudley postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Carney to stand up. Carney tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dudley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dudley looks for a takedown but Carney sprawls well.

Dudley has closed the distance and engaged Carney in a clinch.
Carney misses with some punches.
Carney has Dudley pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dudley manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Carney is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dudley gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Carney prevents a takedown attempt there.
Carney goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dudley prevents it.
Trenton Dudley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elliot Carney. Dudley prevents the takedown attempt.
Carney is breathing heavily.

Dudley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carney's guard. Carney is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carney tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dudley content to stall in guard here. Carney is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dudley is stalling in the full guard. Dudley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dudley controls from within his opponent's guard. This is a sustained period of stalling by Dudley.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Further stalling from Dudley.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carney gets tackled into the cage by Dudley. Dudley maintains the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carney is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Carney throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dudley blocks it with crossed arms. Dudley keeps control of Carney as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The referee calls for Dudley to work.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Trenton Dudley dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Carney wants to hold on but Dudley pushes him away.
Dudley gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! A punch combination from Dudley misses. Carney fails to land with a series of punches.
Dudley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carney sprawls well initially but Dudley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Carney takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Carney is in trouble now - Dudley has advanced to mount!
Dudley looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Dudley sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dudley landing strikes from the mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Trenton Dudley showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dudley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
