The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Taylor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Taylor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Daniels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Daniels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Taylor is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Daniels pulls his head out easily.
Daniels is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Taylor!
