Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edgar John!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sen Ujiyuki!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ujiyuki pushes John up against the cage in a clinch.
John is trying to pull guard but Ujiyuki has him pressed against the cage.
Ujiyuki avoiding damage as John throws knees to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
John misses with a shot to the kidneys.
John breaks from the clinch.
Ujiyuki scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ujiyuki clobbers John with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
John takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ujiyuki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like John was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
John bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
John was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ujiyuki swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by John.

John throws a big counter combination but Ujiyuki scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Ujiyuki cracks John with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

John swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Ujiyuki closes the distance and clinches.
Ujiyuki lands a shoulder strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

John tries to land knees in the clinch but Ujiyuki avoids the damage to the body.
John tries to work over Ujiyuki's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ujiyuki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
John escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ujiyuki takes the fight into the clinch.
John breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ujiyuki loads up on a big right hand but John slips the punch.

Ujiyuki misses with a hook. John ducked under it nicely.
Ujiyuki jabs John to the body, keeping him at a distance.

We've been informed that Ujiyuki has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Sen Ujiyuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

John avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and John counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

John walks into a stiff left hand from Ujiyuki.
Ujiyuki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ujiyuki. John does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sen Ujiyuki dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and John counters with a left right combination that sends Ujiyuki crashing to the mat - John wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Ujiyuki out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
