Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Dotson (ranked 3797 p4p, 3714 weight class) and Saekenpai Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dotson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Without Me (Remix) - Eminem ft. Tupac. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darrell Dotson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saekenpai Fairtex! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and John Mangel.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dotson shoots in looking for a takedown but Fairtex manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dotson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fairtex drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dotson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Fairtex is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Fairtex pulls guard effortlessly. Fairtex looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dotson is one step ahead there. Dotson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dotson stands and steps away. Fairtex gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dotson has closed the distance and engaged Fairtex in a clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fairtex gets tackled into the cage by Dotson. Dotson maintains the clinch.
Fairtex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dotson throws a big right hand that misses. Dotson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fairtex looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fairtex keeping moving, preventing Dotson from controlling successfully.
Fairtex looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dotson passes into side control.
Dotson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fairtex's shoulder. That is not cool. Dotson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fairtex sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dotson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fairtex will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Fairtex is looking for a sweep.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dotson just content to control the position.
Dotson stands up and beckons Fairtex to his feet.
Fairtex shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dotson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dotson is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dotson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fairtex wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fairtex taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dotson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dotson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Dotson is positioning himself well to prevent Fairtex advancing to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dotson is trying to maintain the position but Fairtex is very close to passing his half guard. Fairtex is figuring out what he wants to do next. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dotson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fairtex shoots in and bounces Dotson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dotson keeping moving, preventing Fairtex from controlling successfully. Dotson has control of Fairtex's left arm, preventing Fairtex from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dotson working a defensive guard here.

Dotson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fairtex has picked Dotson up and slammed him! Dotson can't keep hold of the triangle and Fairtex manages to pass to side control! Dotson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fairtex's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dotson trying to control but Fairtex postures up.

Fairtex decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dotson, up you get!

Dotson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dotson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fairtex swivels and escapes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fairtex closes the distance and clinches. Fairtex tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dotson's elbow.
Fairtex wants the takedown. Dotson is fighting it off but Fairtex persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dotson's guard against the cage. Fairtex is breathing heavily.
Dotson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dotson looking for a sweep. Not yet Dotson, not yet. Fairtex's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fairtex looking to pass the guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dotson is trying to control the position but Fairtex postures up. Fairtex wants to pass the guard but Dotson is keeping the position. Fairtex trying to control the position from guard on top but Dotson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Fairtex enables Dotson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fairtex manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dotson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dotson stands and steps away. Fairtex gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dotson dives in and grabs Fairtex's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fairtex pushes down on Dotson's head and hops out. Fairtex is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Fairtex closes the distance and clinches.
Fairtex has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dotson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fairtex working for a choke but Dotson is defending well. Dotson rolls, trying to escape but Fairtex keeps control of the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Saekenpai Fairtex will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Dotson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dotson closes the distance and clinches up with Fairtex, looking for a takedown. Dotson pushes Fairtex against the cage but Fairtex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dotson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fairtex sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dotson somewhat.
Fairtex drives through with a takedown into Dotson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darrell Dotson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dotson wants to clinch up but Fairtex keeps it at a distance. Dotson misses with a takedown attempt and Fairtex counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darrell Dotson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dotson avoids the head kick by Fairtex.
Fairtex takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dotson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dotson is defended easily by Fairtex. Dotson throws out a leg kick but Fairtex moves out of range and Dotson only half commits. Fairtex is looking to slow Dotson down with leg kicks. Dotson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fairtex rushes Dotson and presses him up against the cage. Dotson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fairtex manages to break the clinch.
Fairtex throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fairtex looks to land a combination but Dotson avoids it well. Dotson attempts a counter takedown but Fairtex avoids it well and moves away.
Fairtex closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dotson did well to prevent Fairtex getting side control.
Dotson kicks Fairtex off and gets back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action!

Fairtex manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Darrell Dotson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fairtex is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dotson is controlling him. Dotson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dotson trying to control but Fairtex is working from the bottom.

Dotson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dotson gets to his feet - Fairtex follows without any prompting. Dotson tries for a takedown but Fairtex sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dotson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fairtex's waist but Fairtex gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dotson off to one side. Dotson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fairtex defends well and Dotson ends up having to push Fairtex into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fairtex crunches a lovely knee into Dotson's ribcage. Dotson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dotson is trying to maintain a safe position but Fairtex gets an underhook and turns Dotson into the cage. Fairtex scores with a knee to the head.
Dotson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fairtex to keep the fight standing. Fairtex keeps control of Dotson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fairtex manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Fairtex wants to get back to his feet but Dotson passes into half guard.
Fairtex tries to get to full guard but Dotson has control of the leg. Fairtex pushes Dotson off looking to stand but Dotson dives back in and keeps control.
And that's the end of the fight! Saekenpai Fairtex comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fairtex has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
