Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ollie Finn Malaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Cain Nikko!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malaki moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nikko throws a body punch but Malaki moves out of range.
Malaki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Cain Nikko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malaki lands with a good body shot.
Nikko tries a head kick but it misses.
Malaki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nikko, pushing him back against the cage.
Malaki tries a body shot but Nikko blocks it.
Nikko misses with a knee strike.
Still in the clinch, Malaki scores with a nice short uppercut.
Malaki lands with a short shot to the head.
Malaki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nikko misses with a head kick.
Nikko throws a nice looking combination but Malaki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Malaki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Malaki cracks Nikko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nikko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Malaki finish him?
Nikko is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A lazy body kick from Nikko
and Malaki counters with a right hand to the body.
Nikko is still on wobbly legs! Can Malaki finish him?
Nikko looks winded!
Nikko is aggressively charging in as Malaki backs up avoiding any damage. Malaki tosses out a jab and Nikko runs right into it face first! Nikko is out cold! Malaki dropped down on all fours and is barking in Nikko's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ollie Finn Malaki!
Ollie Finn Malaki decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Cain Nikko stepped up to the mic, saying 'My opponent got lucky. Next time he won't'.
