Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Philip Roth (ranked 1774 p4p, 1912 weight class) and Aleksandar Dobrosavljevic (ranked 85 p4p, 87 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Roth.
Dobrosavljevic misses with a hook. Roth ducked under it nicely.
Roth stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Roth lunges at Dobrosavljevic with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dobrosavljevic's hand.
Roth scores with a punch to the head.
Dobrosavljevic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A counter left hand to the body from Roth misses its target.

Dobrosavljevic counters with a body kick.
Dobrosavljevic cracks a nice hook into Roth's ribs.
Dobrosavljevic lands a nice shot that snaps Roth's head back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Roth takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Roth displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dobrosavljevic throws out the jab.
Roth swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Roth looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dobrosavljevic moves out of range of the strikes.
Roth tries to bum rush Dobrosavljevic with a series of wild strikes but Dobrosavljevic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dobrosavljevic! But no joy.

Dobrosavljevic throws a hook but Roth avoids it easily.

Roth takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A left lands for Dobrosavljevic.
Roth throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dobrosavljevic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dobrosavljevic swings for the body but Roth moves out of range.
Dobrosavljevic throws out a loose jab but Roth uses good head movement to avoid it.
Philip Roth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roth throws a combination that misses
and Dobrosavljevic counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Roth cracks Dobrosavljevic with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
