Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tair Serikbekov (ranked 4090 p4p, 4165 weight class) and Elliot Hawthorne (ranked 362 p4p, 369 weight class). Hawthorne comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Don't Push Me - 50 Cent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Serikbekov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hawthorne shoots in for a double leg but Serikbekov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hawthorne shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Serikbekov is trying to defend but Hawthorne finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hawthorne is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Serikbekov is just riding it out for now. Hawthorne eventually gives up the hold.
