Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mirza Rahimov (ranked 25810 p4p, 3135 weight class) and Abdulhakim Muratov (ranked 480 p4p, 320 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mirza Rahimov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abdulhakim Muratov! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muratov takes the fight into the clinch. Muratov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rahimov backwards. Rahimov trying to stall but Muratov improves his position.
Rahimov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Muratov lands an uppercut. Muratov lands a left hand.
Muratov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rahimov backwards. Rahimov jumps guard but Muratov turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Muratov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Muratov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Muratov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rahimov is controlling him.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Muratov manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Muratov lands an uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Muratov lands on the inside with an uppercut. Rahimov is trying to push Muratov away but Muratov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Rahimov is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Muratov lands with a short head shot on the inside. Rahimov is trying to stall.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rahimov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Muratov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Muratov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Muratov lands with a light punch inside.
Muratov drags the fight down to the ground.
Rahimov won't allow Muratov to get back to his feet. Rahimov is standing up over Muratov. Muratov looks to escape but Rahimov dives into side control.
Muratov pushes Rahimov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rahimov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Rahimov trying to control the action but Muratov is working from the bottom. Rahimov working the ground and pound but Muratov is defending the strikes. Rahimov has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Muratov!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Muratov is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Rahimov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Muratov is looking to escape. Muratov is trying to stand. Rahimov in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rahimov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. You get the feeling that Muratov really doesn't like being in this position too much.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Muratov can do anything to dispel that myth. Muratov is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Muratov somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Horrible takedown attempt by Rahimov or perhaps it was just good defense by Muratov, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mirza Rahimov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rahimov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rahimov throws a front kick aimed at Muratov's knee but Muratov avoids it well.
Muratov moves into the clinch. A short left from Muratov.
Rahimov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Muratov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rahimov to the mat. Rahimov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muratov stands up from Rahimov's guard - Muratov perhaps looking for a knockout.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Muratov rushes Rahimov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rahimov tries to break free but Muratov pushes him back against the cage. A shot in the inside from Muratov. A nice right hand lands inside from Muratov.
Rahimov breaks the clinch.
Muratov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rahimov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Muratov somewhat.
Muratov has managed to clinch.
Muratov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rahimov backwards. Rahimov has had enough of the clinch but Muratov keeps him there for the moment. Rahimov takes a shot to the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Abdulhakim Muratov dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Muratov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Muratov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rahimov on his heels. He'll look to pass Rahimov's guard now, I'm sure. Rahimov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Muratov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Muratov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rahimov, up you get! Rahimov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Muratov as he avoids it easily. Muratov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Muratov drives through and clinches with Rahimov against the cage.

Abdulhakim Muratov seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Muratov scores with a shot to the side of Rahimov's head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Muratov. Muratov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rahimovs head. Rahimov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Muratov scores with an uppercut up the middle. Muratov lands with a short punch from the clinch.
 Rahimov is rocked! Still in the clinch, Muratov scores with a nice short uppercut. Oh Rahimov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Muratov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Muratov lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Rahimov to his knees! Muratov keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdulhakim Muratov!
