Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jean Luc Jacoby (ranked 4021 p4p, 5151 weight class) and Alonso Montes (ranked 442 p4p, 491 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alonso Montes!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacoby misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Montes counters with a crisp one two that drops Jacoby! Montes thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jacoby to his feet! Jacoby is in big trouble!
Jacoby misses with a looping left.
Jacoby tries to clinch up but Montes circles away and keeps his distance.
Jacoby misses with an uppercut
and Montes rattles Jacoby with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Jacoby tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Montes dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Jacoby stiff and motionless on the mat!
