The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Davenport connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
John looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A slow jab from Davenport misses its intended target.
We've been told by John's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Prison John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John doesn't manage to clinch there - Davenport circles away.
Davenport lands a big right hand that sends John crashing to the mat! Davenport stays standing though and waves John back to his feet!
John is rocked!
It looks like Prison John has been cut.
John ducks under a wild hook from Davenport.
Oh John is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
John gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Davenport counters with a huge right that knocks John out cold! Davenport is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

A relieved looking Elias Davenport thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
