Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Chase (ranked 448 p4p, 901 weight class) and Killjoy McNofun (ranked 56 p4p, 124 weight class). Chase's entrance music is Ambitionz Az a Ridah. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Killjoy McNofun!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Francis DeMontford and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
McNofun throws the kick towards the body but Chase avoids it.
McNofun throws an overhand right that lands on Chase's shoulder, as Chase tries to avoid the shot.
McNofun is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Chase shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McNofun as he jumps to the side.
McNofun takes one on the button.
McNofun blocks a head kick by Chase.
McNofun flicks out a counter leg kick but Chase steps away.
Chase bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McNofun's head backwards.
Chase has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Wolfpack Gym in the buildup to the fight.
McNofun bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McNofun on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Chase lands with a thumping leg kick.
McNofun moves away from the strike by Chase.
A telegraphed right hand from Chase misses the target.
Chase closes the distance and clinches up with McNofun, looking for a takedown. Chase pushes McNofun against the cage but McNofun circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chase throws a head kick but McNofun moves out of range.

McNofun fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

It looks like Danny Chase has been cut.

McNofun throws a hook but Chase avoids it easily.
Chase pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and McNofun counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chase fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Chase has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McNofun is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

McNofun will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Chase up against the cage.
McNofun breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chase is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

McNofun throws a head kick that misses.
Chase dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A jab from Chase finds it's way through McNofun's defenses.
Chase throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
McNofun is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chase lands a slapping body shot.
McNofun goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McNofun lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
McNofun gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
McNofun is pressed up against the cage. Chase has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McNofun down to the mat. McNofun avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
McNofun lands a right hook to the body.

McNofun throws a hook to the side of Chase's head but Chase sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Danny Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McNofun fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chase has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McNofun throws a body kick that misses.
McNofun wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
McNofun will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McNofun ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Chase throws a nice inside leg kick.
McNofun avoids the head kick by Chase.
McNofun tries to counter by closing the distance.
Chase takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
McNofun throws a jab but it's blocked by Chase.
Chase was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
McNofun is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
McNofun turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McNofun throws a one two combo.
McNofun lands a big uppercut and Chase crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Chase looks OK. McNofun waves Chase back to his feet!
Chase is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Oh Chase is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chase walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Chase limp body while McNofun jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Killjoy McNofun!
