Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nguyen (ranked 163 p4p, 1725 weight class) and Alan Arnolds (ranked 21 p4p, 157 weight class). Nguyen comes to the cage accompanied by In One Ear. The crowd seem to be enjoying Arnolds's choice of entrance music: Free and Easy - The Almighty. Jimmy Nguyen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnolds fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nguyen manages to avoid it.
Nguyen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Arnolds throws a nice looking combination but Nguyen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Arnolds takes a swing at Nguyen's ribcage but misses.

Arnolds has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Nguyen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nguyen connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nguyen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arnolds tries to avoid it but Nguyen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arnolds to the ground. Arnolds escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Arnolds ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Arnolds lands a head kick!
Nguyen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nguyen drops his hands momentarily and Arnolds takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Arnolds. Nguyen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nguyen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Arnolds misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nguyen.

Arnolds fails with a takedown attempt.
Nguyen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Arnolds stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Arnolds moves in looking to clinch but Nguyen pushes him off.
Arnolds takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Arnolds avoids the body shot from Nguyen.
Arnolds lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Good exchange - Nguyen coming out on top.
Nguyen takes a swing at Arnolds's ribcage but misses.
Arnolds closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nguyen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Nguyen lands a nice hook to Arnolds's body. Arnolds takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nguyen fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Arnolds to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Arnolds looks to clinch but Nguyen throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Arnolds taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
