Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joachim Murat (ranked 1282 p4p, 1844 weight class) and Colin Nox (ranked 116 p4p, 165 weight class). Murat comes into the arena with I Hate My Life - Youth Brigade blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Nox's choice of entrance music: Mobb Deep - Shook Ones. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joachim Murat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colin Nox!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nox lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fighters circling - Murat throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Murat takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Murat comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Murat was well out of range. Poor timing from Nox.

Nox is trying to drag Murat to the mat but Murat just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
