Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Meyer (ranked 4425 p4p, 2577 weight class) and Bo Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bo Cooper told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Meyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bo Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper fails with the takedown

Cooper manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Meyer on his heels. He'll look to pass Meyer's guard now, I'm sure.
Cooper sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Meyer's guard.
Meyer is looking to escape.
Cooper working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Cooper is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Meyer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Meyer has hold of Cooper's hands but Cooper slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Cooper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cooper is nestled in close to Meyer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cooper lands a nice short elbow.

Cooper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Meyer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Cooper lands a strong strike to the head of Meyer. That's dazed him! Cooper looking to finish here. Meyer is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cooper lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
