Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lysander Birdwhistle (ranked 1113 p4p, 1030 weight class) and Ken Shamrock (ranked 148 p4p, 143 weight class). Birdwhistle comes to the cage accompanied by Black Vultures - Halestorm. The crowd seem to be enjoying Shamrock's choice of entrance music: Dangerous Entrance Theme. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Birdwhistle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Birdwhistle wants it to stay on the feet.

Shamrock isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Birdwhistle stacks Shamrock on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Birdwhistle!
