Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Jackson (ranked 709 p4p, 944 weight class) and Hercules Hoost (ranked 74 p4p, 101 weight class). Luke Jackson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luke Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hercules Hoost! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jackson misses with a double jab.
A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target. Hoost displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab. Hoost takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jackson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hoost counters with a lovely straight right hand! Luke Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson moves out of range of the body kick from Hoost.
A little feinted left hand from Jackson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hoost displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoost.
Hoost slips a jab from Jackson. A nice side step and Hoost releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Hoost dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jackson throws a hook but Hoost avoids it easily. A little jabbing left from Hoost on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hoost takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hoost blocks a jab. Hoost looks like he wants to counter punch here. A big left from Jackson misses. Jackson misses with a hook to the body
and Hoost counters with a straight right hand.
 It looks like Luke Jackson has been cut. Jackson throws a poor cross that misses
and Hoost counters with a nice body shot. Hoost explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Jackson misses with a looping left. Hoost looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hoost takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hoost slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Hoost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target. Hoost feints a counter leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson misses with a few strikes there.

We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at Top of Food Chain that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Hoost uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Jackson misses with a left hand and Hoost counters with a nice leg kick. Jackson punishes Hoost's body with a nice straight punch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoost steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Hoost replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Jackson blocks it well. Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw. Jackson tries to bum rush Hoost with a series of wild strikes but Hoost uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jackson tests Hoost's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jackson looks to land a right hand but Hoost moved out of range. Jackson lands a jab to Hoost's midsection. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Hoost looks like he wants to counter punch here. Jackson throws a jab but it's blocked by Hoost. Hoost bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A nice side step and Hoost releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Jackson throws a combination that misses and Hoost counters with a nice uppercut.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoost uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson. Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoost moves away. A countering left hand to the body from Hoost misses. Jackson throws a right hand that Hoost ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoost also avoids with ease. Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Hoost slips the punch. Hoost throws a lazy right hand but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hoost throws a leg kick but Jackson checks it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hoost.
Jackson misses with a hook. Hoost doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Good shot there by Jackson. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Jackson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Luke Jackson's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Hoost was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hoost takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Luke Jackson is winning the standup battle so far. Jackson throws a sloppy body shot
and Hoost counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jackson slips a straight right by Hoost. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hoost moves away from the strike by Jackson. Hoost let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Some wild striking there from Jackson.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hoost throws a hook but Jackson blocks it. Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Hoost ducks down to avoid it. Hoost looks like he wants to counter punch here. Jackson looks to land a left hand but Hoost moved out of range nicely. Jackson lands with a right hand. Jackson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jackson misses with a left hand and Hoost connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hoost is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jackson rather than just go for the knockout. Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and Hoost counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jackson cracks Hoost with a good jab. Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A nice side step and Hoost releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hoost's head backwards. Hoost scores with a leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hoost connects with a solid leg kick. Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hoost on the side of the head. Jackson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hoost. Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Hoost counters with a straight right hand. Hoost takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and Hoost counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jackson! Hoost lets Jackson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
 Jackson is rocked! Jackson swings widly with a right hand
and Hoost rattles Jackson with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Jackson tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Hoost dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Jackson stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hercules Hoost!
