And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Genkei Takahashi!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Chomofsky closes the distance and pushes Takahashi back into the cage.
Chomofsky has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Takahashi after a bit of a struggle.
Takahashi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Takahashi wants the takedown. Chomofsky is fighting it off but Takahashi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Chomofsky's guard against the cage.

Chomofsky has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Takahashi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've been hearing good reports from Chomofsky's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

You can see the frustration on Chomofsky's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

It looks like Takahashi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
