Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Graves (ranked 86 p4p, 302 weight class) and Trayvon Lewis (ranked 12 p4p, 39 weight class). Graves comes to the cage accompanied by I Bring The Darkness.. The key to victory for Phil Graves has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Phil Graves!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trayvon Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Graves!

Lewis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Graves swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Graves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lewis.
Graves looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graves fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lewis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Graves is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lewis can do to turn this around?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lewis is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Graves is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A very excited looking Trayvon Lewis rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
