Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Amber Jack (ranked 744 p4p, 915 weight class) and William Riker (ranked 62 p4p, 74 weight class). Jack comes to the cage accompanied by DDA - Pusha T. Riker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Soulfly - Pain. Amber Jack has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Amber Jack!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Riker!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jack to the ground. Riker is now in Jack's guard.
Jack controlling the position.
Riker is looking to work some ground and pound but Jack has wrist control.
Jack working a defensive guard but Riker manages to pass into side control anyway.
Jack is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Riker works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riker is looking to take a break and control but Jack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Riker tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Jack tries to bench press Riker off him but Riker keeps the position.
Riker scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jack to see if he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Check out the look on Riker's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Riker is working to tighten his grip on Jack's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jack has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Riker is really squeezing tight and eventually Jack passes out! Riker breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). William Riker!

William Riker decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
