Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Park (ranked 2711 p4p, 2721 weight class) and Pira Nha (ranked 328 p4p, 329 weight class). Nha has chosen Vampiro - Metue, Teto, & WIU as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Elvis Park!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pira Nha!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nha lands with an uppercut that bounces Park off the cage and back into range.
Nice uppercut lands for Nha. That snapped Park's head back.

Park darts in and clinches Nha up against the cage.
Park jumps guard but Nha turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Park fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Park tries to pull guard but Nha won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elvis Park. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Park is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nha to keep the fight standing.

Park had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nha defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Park sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nha content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Park is looking to control Nha's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Park avoid being mounted?

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nha throws a body punch but Park moves out of range.
Park looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Donk. Nha catches Park right on the button with a cross.
Park uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nha.
Park swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Park throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nha scores with a shot to the body.
Nha moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Elvis Park has been cut.
Nha moves into range and connects with a jab.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nha throws a body shot but no joy.

Nha gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pira Nha dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Park takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Park throwing a counter right hand but Nha manages to avoid it.
Park needs to keep his hands up - Nha had a free shot at his head there.

Park was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Nha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Park was well out of range. Poor timing from Nha.
Pira Nha seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Park throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nha wants to counter the offense by Park and move into the clinch position.

Nha bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Park misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Nha counters with a nice uppercut.
Pira Nha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Park moves away from the strike by Nha.
Park misses with an uppercut
and Nha counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nha scores with a jab to the head.
Nha swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nha swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pira Nha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nha connects with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nha. Park does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nha has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Nha wants to clinch.
Nha swings for the body but Park moves out of range.
Nha stuffs the takedown attempt from Park. Park gets slowly back to his feet.

Park tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nha swivels and escapes.
Park takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Park counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nha fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nha misses with a wild body shot.
Nice cross by Nha.

Park takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nha scores with a hook to the body. Park takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nha throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nha smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nha lands with a shot to the body.
Nha is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Park rather than just go for the knockout.
Nha swinging wildly here.
It looked like Park wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pira Nha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Nha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Park moves away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Nha scores with a nice hook to the head.

Nha has a couple of punches blocked by Park.
Nha throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Park is trying to pull guard but Nha has him pressed against the cage.
Park fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Park tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Nha not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Park tries to roll over but Nha keeps him under control.

Nha tries to pass the half guard into mount. Park knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Nha is pressing down on Park's thigh, looking to free his foot. Park is holding on for now.

Nha seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Park does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Park wants to get back to full guard.

Park is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nha pulls his head out easily.

Nha is pressing down on Park's thigh, looking to free his foot. Park is holding on for now.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Park shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nha misses with a series of wild punches.
Park tries to counter with a takedown but Nha is quick to defend against it.
Nha swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Park throws a lazy right hand but Nha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nha misses the shot to the body.
Park is looking to counter punch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Park throwing a counter right hand but Nha manages to avoid it.
Elvis Park has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Pira Nha is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Nha connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Park's hands.

Pira Nha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nha has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
