Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jingky Bacolod (ranked 3349 p4p, 3200 weight class) and Kevin Taylor (ranked 367 p4p, 352 weight class). Bacolod kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Havana. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jingky Bacolod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacolod tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bacolod takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Taylor punishes Bacolod's body with a nice straight punch.
Taylor tests Bacolod's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Taylor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Taylor lands with an uppercut that bounces Bacolod off the cage and back into range.
Taylor misses with an uppercut
and Bacolod counters with a series of strikes. Taylor will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bacolod feinted with a counter takedown.
A shot to the liver by Taylor. Beautiful body shot.
Bacolod doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Taylor misses with an uppercut. Bacolod saw that one coming.
Taylor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bacolod has time to react.
Taylor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Jingky Bacolod has been cut.
Taylor scores with a shot to the body.
Bacolod slips a jab and a cross from Taylor.
Bacolod moves forwards but Taylor connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor connects with a body shot that sends Bacolod's belly button to the back.
Bacolod moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bacolod moves away from the strike by Taylor.
Jab, jab by Taylor - just one landing.
Taylor lands with an overhand left.
Bacolod walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Taylor throws a combination. Bacolod tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bacolod with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Taylor to score with a decent uppercut.
Taylor stuns Bacolod with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Bacolod takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bacolod drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Bacolod is rocked!
Taylor cracks Bacolod with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bacolod tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Taylor pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bacolod is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Taylor!
