Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bruce (ranked 23801 p4p, 4008 weight class) and Donny Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce shoots in but Lyle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
It seemed like Lyle was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lyle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice defenses there by Bruce.
Bruce looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bruce shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lyle as he jumps to the side.

Bruce postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lyle to stand up.

Lyle stuns Bruce with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bruce takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Lyle missing with a left hand there. Bruce was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bruce takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lyle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bruce.
Bruce feinted with a counter takedown.
Bruce fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice uppercut there from Lyle.
Lyle thuds a left hand into Bruce's body.
Lyle drops Bruce with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bruce looks back up at him and smiles so Lyle waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bruce is rocked!
Lyle throws an overhand right that has Bruce reeling! Lyle follows up with more punches and Bruce is out cold! This one is all over!
