Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Pugsley (ranked 2404 p4p, 1656 weight class) and James King (ranked 211 p4p, 147 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Pugsley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 29 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, James King!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugsley takes the fight into the clinch.
Pugsley blocks a body shot from King.
Nice body punch from King - that landed with a thud.
A knee to the head by Pugsley.
King works on Pugsley's body with a couple of short punches.
King lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
King misses with a knee strike.

Pugsley pulls guard successfully.
King avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
King is looking to work some ground and pound but Pugsley has wrist control.

King slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pugsley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pugsley working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because King has passed into half guard!
King content to control rather than advance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pugsley is staying active underneath King, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Pugsley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. King is working away from the top position though.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
King can't control as he wanted to and Pugsley manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

King is looking to chop away at Pugsley's legs.
Pugsley closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Pugsley pushes King against the cage but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

King throws out a loose jab but Pugsley uses good head movement to avoid it.

James King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pugsley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching King on his heels. He'll look to pass King's guard now, I'm sure.

King has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pugsley moves into the clinch successfully.

King trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Pugsley manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Pugsley tries to clinch but King is having none of it.
King looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Pugsley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pugsley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.

James King is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

King is taking a breather. Pugsley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

James King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
