Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Righteous Crusader (ranked 22675 p4p, 22859 weight class) and William Tate (ranked 513 p4p, 554 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 32 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Righteous Crusader ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 29 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Tate! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate fails with an attempt to clinch.
It looked like Crusader was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Crusader darts in and clinches Tate up against the ropes. Tate tries to break free but Crusader pushes him back against the ropes. A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Crusader breaks the clinch.
Crusader fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tate, pushing him back against the ropes.
Crusader 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tate has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Crusader falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tate counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tate is trying to maintain a safe position but Crusader gets an underhook and turns Tate into the ropes. Tate takes a knee to the side of the body. A frustrated look appears on Tate's face as he tries to break the clinch. Crusader has Tate pressed against the ropes.

Crusader gets tackled into the ropes by Tate. Tate maintains the clinch. Crusader 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Crusader scores with an uppercut up the middle. Crusader scores with a knee to the head.
Tate lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Tate tries to stall but Crusader uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Tate darts in trying to clinch and Crusader counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Crusader takes a shot right to the bread basket. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tate tries to close the distance and clinch but Crusader swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Crusader circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crusader seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Tate counters with a series of strikes. Crusader will be more careful next time no doubt. Crusader wants to clinch but Tate slips to the side and Tate cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Crusader tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tate was well out of range. Poor timing from Crusader . Tate feints a jab promting Crusader to slip. Tate then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Crusader slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Tate circles away from the clinch attempt.

 Crusader is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! A combination from Tate does no damage.
