Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harald Ragnarson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ragnarson is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ragnarson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Silva keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Silva throws a head punch that misses.
Ragnarson blocking some punches.
Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ragnarson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ragnarson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva.

Silva wants to free his trapped foot but Ragnarson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ragnarson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva is looking for a kimura but Ragnarson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage.

Silva goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ragnarson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Silva's guard! Nice work there by Ragnarson!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ragnarson's half guard.
Ragnarson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ragnarson is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.

You can see the frustration on Ragnarson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ragnarson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ragnarson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Silva couldn't care less - he's delighted!
