The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Submit throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it.
A punch combination from Anderson misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Submit! But no joy.
Punch Clinch Submit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson throws a series of punches but Submit moves out of range.
Submit throws a combination. Anderson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Anderson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Submit tries to move into range but Anderson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Submit tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Submit somewhat.

Submit has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Anderson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Anderson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Anderson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Submit shoots in and gets a takedown into Anderson's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Anderson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Anderson stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Submit throws up his legs and catches Anderson in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Anderson tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Submit! That came out of nowhere!
